Each gabion barrier is encased in a durable, heavy-duty non-woven polypropylene geotextile, enhancing its structural stability and effectiveness in diverse environmental conditions. For maximum longevity and resistance to the elements, our gabion barriers receive either a hot-dipped galvanized or galfan coating post-welding, offering superior corrosion protection.
For transportation and storage efficiency, our packaging methods include either shrink film wrapping or palletization, designed to protect the product while facilitating easy handling.
Manufacturing Technique:
Hesco Barriers, primarily utilized for military and war defense, undergo a manufacturing process where raw materials are welded into specific mesh sizes. These meshes are then interconnected using springs based on unique specifications, creating a structure that is both foldable and expandable for easy transportation. Depending on requirements, these units can be grouped into sets of three, five, or more, facilitating quick assembly and deployment.
Hesco Barrier Structure:
Resembling a beehive, the Hesco Barrier consists of an outer welded gabion frame and an inner fabric liner, which can hold materials like soil, sand, or small stones. The liners are available in various colors, including yellow and grass green, chosen to harmonize with the natural environment, enhancing camouflage and blending seamlessly with the landscape.
